Ingredients
  • 1 crust, single 9”
    Pie Crust
  • 1 package
    Silken Tofu
  • 1 1/2 cup
    Egg Substitute, Fat Free
  • 2 cup
    Cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp
    Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    Nutmeg, Ground
  • 1/8 tsp
    Sea Salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    Cayenne Pepper
  • 3/4 cup, shredded
    Cheddar Cheese, Low Fat, may substitute soy cheese
Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 10-inch quiche pan once with cooking pan.

2. Flour work surface and roll pie dough into an 11-inch circle. Transfer to prepared pan and gently press into corners. Bake until very lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Do not turn off.

3. In a blender or food processor, combine tofu, egg product, cornstarch, onion powder, nutmeg, salt and cayenne. Blend until smooth.

4. Place cheese and in baked crust. Pour in tofu mixture.

5. Bake for 45 minutes, or until quiche is firm.
